updategallery The 2010 Deutsche Classic theme songs for the day include “Rain Drops Keep Falling on My Head”, “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” and “Covered in Rain”. Prayer, optimism and iPhone weather radar forecasts did not result in good weather for most of the event this year. But many of you still came, with your umbrellas and the enthusiasm that fuels the passion to produce this all-German automotive event.

We sincerely want to thank our staff for all their hard work - family and friends without which this event could never happen. We also want to thank each and everyone of you, new and old, the greater Deutsche Classic family, for braving the weather and supporting the event! There were 123 show cars, 23 parts vendors and 550 participants, a much smaller event than in the past, but a great bunch of folks that made the best of the day. You guys are awesome!

Please be certain to check out the photo gallery and the 2010 Award Winners. Unique, hand crafted awards were again given to judged vehicles in each of the 28 categories.

But the rain didn't keep the die-hards away by any means, with many cars sporting New York and New Jersey plates still turning up after making the long haul across state lines.” Kilometer Magazine, Fourtitude.com

“I just wanted to let you guys know that this is the best all German car show I have been to. I can only imagine what it would have been like with better weather. The show was just well put together and I will definitely be there next year. Hopefully with more of my YoCo Euros members.” Ben

“Mad props to all those who made it. I was very impressed by the Porsche contingent, who weathered the weather in great numbers. Much stronger turnout than I was expecting. Had a great time. Thanks to the Bakers and crew. See you next year at this not to be missed show.” John

“Good show, good food and good friends! Thanks for the show. It was my first time, but won't be the last! Chicken dinner was great.” (theSamba forum)

“Great show as usual . . . Porsche guys surprised us all this year taking their babies out in the rain. Some awesome cars in their area!!! It says a lot about the show that so many people still came in spite of the shit weather. This is and will remain one of the best shows on the east coast.” Old City Oil Drippers Northeast

A special thank you also goes to this year’s sponsors: Auto Locator, J Wise & Co, R-Tek, Sports Car Tire, HydeVilla NAPA Auto Parts, Becker AutoSound, CR’s BMW Wholesale, Huber Auto Group, Kerber Power and Vision Porsche/Audi/VW. Additional sponsors including an event Title Sponsor are actively being sought for next year’s Classic. Contact us if interested.
